"I Need a Job" Is Coming Out This Thursday

Great news for the ten people who've been following my ramblings for the last year!  I've finally wrapped up the last few steps to release I Need a Job, and it will be available on Amazon.com this Thursday, October 9, 2014.

Get ready to see this cover hovering around on the corner of my site for the next, oh, ten years or so.  Or at least until I work up the nerve to self-publish my next book.

The cover was designed by Megan Haines, who - if anybody is looking for a recommendation for a graphic designer - was amazing to work with and made the design process look incredibly easy.

I'll eventually have some ad copy elsewhere on the site that repeats all this information, but I might as well plug it wherever I get the chance.  I Need a Job tells the story of Julia Orokowski, a talented but arrogant webcomic artist who has been struggling to find a job for the last six months.  Determined not to go another day without a paycheck, she decides to lower her standards a bit and accept any job that comes her way.  The result: a lot of pain, frustration, misunderstandings, and misadventures.

I Need a Job will be (for now) exclusive to Kindle for only $2.99.  (I know, I know... only a week ago I said I was going to list it at $4.79 for over-complicated reasons.  What can I say?  I'm indecisive.)

Eventually I'll put up some sample pages and a more convincing argument to buy, but in the meantime, I just wanted to make sure I started to spread the word.  October 9, 2014.  Clear your schedule and make time to read, because you won't want to put it down once you start.

(Did that sound convincing?  I hope that sounded good.  Oh, God, I'll feel like an idiot if nobody buys it now.)
