Movies I Watched in the Last Week

1) The Search for General Tso - At first I wasn't sure that I would like this documentary since it relies a little too much on animated segues and some dumbed-down visuals.  But after seeing it through to the end, I found it to be a powerful deconstruction of the Chinese-American identity.  It's probably not as detail heavy as those who are interested in the topic may want - if you yourself are Chinese-American or if you've already read some books about the experience, this will probably seem more like a primer.  But for everybody else?  This is a fantastic documentary that packs a heavy punch in a short run-time.  I recommend it.

Minutes I Spent Writing in the Last Week

1) Presently Untitled Book About Souls - About four hours of revisions.

Total: 4 Hours

The Winner: Minutes!

This was an exciting week - I finished the next major rewrite of my soul book.  Hooray!

Now I just have to get as many people to read it and give me their comments as possible and rewrite it again in the next two months and I'll be all set.  Onward and upward.
